Wow! i never imagined it would be quite as good as it actually is, i had only seen photos up until i arrived at the warehouse yesterday to pick it up...

One owner from new, used until 1971 then parked up since. no rot only surface rust, every thing works, straight six 3.7L runs lovely and it drives and stops no problem. only ever had 2 panels painted and most the chrome is perfect. interior is tatty but the old faithful Mexican blankets tidy it up for now Smile

that is nice !
it seems you get a lot more for your money when buying an old yank compared to an old vw , if only we were'nt rooked at the petrol pumps ! a mate brought a rock solid 64 chevy c20 pickup for 3 grand he was also looking for something air cooled first but got fed up with looking at overpriced nails . i'm sure there is some bargains out there but you need to be quick .

there are some yank bargains about , ive got a ford e-150 dayvan for sale @ £2995 its mint , drives real smooth , not bad on fuel cos its a 4.9 ltr straight 6 , mid 20's to high 30's mpg wise , but no one seems to be interested , loads more room in the back than a vw , but it aint a vw , if it was it would have gone by now and for over £10k in the condition its in .
there are some bargains in the states and with the ex rate as it is , they make good sense to buy now Cool
tims new motor does look cool and in the slammed state it does look well cool and makes a mean low rider Cool
