quick update................been to busy driving it :mrgreen:

fixed the dodgy rear wheel bearing and made VW Action..............just, Vanfest is off as my engine isnt ready yet

got my new plates and bumpers on today, re bleed the front brakes, and had a damn good drive

long overdue update, engine delivered today, bit of work needed still, but nearly there

engine support bar needs some adjustment for the full flow, but hopefully will have it in tomorrow

Looking good, that exhaust certainly wont be getting cold this winter

haven't seen one of those alt pulleys before

pulley came from CB with the alternator kit

awaiting a second beefier jack for the gearbox now

Oh yeah i've seen that done on one i had, sorry i thought it was a standard early box

play tonite was delayed as we needed a bigger jack for the gearbox, to get it higher :evil:

should be putting some miles on it by fri nite/sat mornin :cheers:

Right, got a good few hours work done today :wink:

Engine is in at last, gear box needed some fettling, bit of grinding on the input shaft

it was a bitch, but went in eventually :mrgreen:

Got a few niggles to sort tommorow

- 2ltr starter motor needed
- longer bolt for starter motor
- exhaust muffler fouls the engine bar, need to get an adaptor flange made up
- mount electric fuel pump
- adjust left rear adjustable spring plate
- lower front beam a few inches :wink:

So how's it going, got some miles on it yet?

Ive been for a drive tonight :mrgreen:

Replaced the dodgey starter motor with a spanking new one, and a big new battery of a 5 series BMW :wink:

What does the heater run on?

i figured it probably was seeing as you hadn't plumbed it straight into the petrol tank... how much was that set up out of interest?

bought the eber for about £220 off ebay, def worth buying an exhaust silencer tho, cost £25, but dont half cut down the noise, and it gets roasting hot in no time

Few updates..............nothing major, too bloody cold the past few weeks

Jobs to do over the next weeks or so, sort out the rear ride height ( 1 side is too high ), Plumbs breather pipework in, New starter battery, Correctly measure shock heights for Gaz Shocks, top up gearbox oil
