| quick update................been to busy driving it :mrgreen: fixed the dodgy rear wheel bearing and made VW Action..............just, Vanfest is off as my engine isnt ready yet got my new plates and bumpers on today, re bleed the front brakes, and had a damn good drive | |

| pulley came from CB with the alternator kit [size=150]close but no cigar had to grind 1cm off the input shaft awaiting a second beefier jack for the gearbox now hopefully in by the end of the nite :mrgreen: [/size] | |

| play tonite was delayed as we needed a bigger jack for the gearbox, to get it higher :evil:
should be putting some miles on it by fri nite/sat mornin :cheers:

| Right, got a good few hours work done today :wink:
Engine is in at last, gear box needed some fettling, bit of grinding on the input shaft
it was a bitch, but went in eventually :mrgreen:
Got a few niggles to sort tommorow
- 2ltr starter motor needed - longer bolt for starter motor - exhaust muffler fouls the engine bar, need to get an adaptor flange made up - mount electric fuel pump - adjust left rear adjustable spring plate - lower front beam a few inches :wink: | |

| bought the eber for about £220 off ebay, def worth buying an exhaust silencer tho, cost £25, but dont half cut down the noise, and it gets roasting hot in no time | |

| Few updates..............nothing major, too bloody cold the past few weeks Jobs to do over the next weeks or so, sort out the rear ride height ( 1 side is too high ), Plumbs breather pipework in, New starter battery, Correctly measure shock heights for Gaz Shocks, top up gearbox oil Drinks holder courtesy of Baydreamers Set of chrome window winders (need to find deluxe door handle surrounds now) Temp pipes on my breather till we get round to plumbing them to the rocker covers Stripped the droopy tar board from the engine bay | |
