Cheers bud, you wouldnt belive what a pain it was to find some in 14 inch. Tim had a go but i got too impatient, they do make it look 'just so' in my opinion, but I wsnt sure to start with. Smile

Started like this, a rather crusty 79 bay, but genuine all the same, it had had only 6 pervious owners (4 of which came upto me at Vanfest 2006- how random)

A little tap with a hammer on the sill:

Started off looking innocent:

Bottom of the door also looked 'bubbly'...

Bit drafty...

Yep fibreglass in the arch isnt good news

New arch in

Looked innocent enough (heard that before?)

Ah, thats not so good

In goes a NOS screen whilst we're there

Time to start the sliding door 'innocent bubbles then'

Time to get her riding right

Fasst forward a bit to the prep

Nice new door:

Primer time

Top coat time, ford daytona yellow

Bit of a stance issiue, so lets drop the back down a tad:

Sign writing time, I did the rest, mate did the sides.

Few usual mods, and voila:

Amd taken yesterday (has changed small details again but not had time to take pics)- panelling inside, rock and roll bed, 2 side lockers, under locker etc etc.:

Needless to say there were about 30 welding jobs/panels used, but thats enough rust porn for one night, thats just the boring bits, the blingy bits are the fun bits now. Smile

Next possible job is another spline down on the back, but have heard horror stories about getting the wheel off etc so not sure on that.
