| If you can just introduce yourself briefly here that would be cool, i dunno maybe age name, location, what do you drive, own or want to own, what do you do as a day job and what your into(not kinky shit ) It's nice to know something about the people your talking to... Well i'm Tim obviously, 36 from Stamford, South Lincs. into old VW's and American cars plus any car that's old and interestiing where ever it's from . i also love all the old Vintage accessories, coolers and cool stuff. I Skate and surf(every so often ) and just try and live life having fun. my day job is well RoadHouse i guess...

| OK then. I'm Jon from Newport, Wales. Originally from Hampshire, spending most of my youth skating and generally larking about. Now at 32, through some crazed lapse in concentration, I became a teacher and now train teachers to deliver PE. I hate sport in general apart from the more extreme sports . My 69 westy is my 5th bus and this is my keeper (I think), I have owned in order: a 72 Devon, 52 Panel, 89 Westy and 60 Panel but I am now truely an early bay man. In the future I hope to own a chilled out cafe' with enough parking for clubs to meet up and a little project workshop in the back. | |

| and I'm Steve, currently living in Brighton. Originally from some red-neck hick-town just outside of Sheffield. Spent most of my time skating and just scraping through design courses at college till I really got my head down when I got to university in Kent and Cardiff. Moved to London after that to work for Ben Kelly, the designer of the Hacienda club, Factory Records HQ etc. Worked for a couple of design companies and architects since in London before moving to Brighton. I'm now senior designer at Design LSM, doing restaurants, bars and hotels. Got into buses a couple of years ago when I stumbled across Brighton Breeze, and its taken a year and a half to find my ride, which is a keeper too. So stoked to finally get my bus down there on Madeira Drive this year, as thats where it all started for me. | |

| Howdy I'm Ady from the mighty Sheffield. I'm on my 7th aircooled VW - some good some bad and some very bad! I, or I should really say we (me & my girlfriend Bridget) currently own a 1966 13 window bus. We've had a great year in the bus - highlights being Bad Camberg and recently Brighton Breeze. Hope to see you at some future shows! Ady | |

| Ay'up all. The names Chris Hodson. 39yrs and live above Elderkins gun shop in Herring lane Spalding (Herring Lane car park is voted no 24 in the book best places to hide throughout England, Scotland and Wales) I spend my working time as a microbiologist for ALControl Laboratories in Spalding and my free time bulding my bus and goin to shows with Dom (67 walkthrough, this man knows how to camp) and his luverly partner Vana. Also mates wiv Gary (Max Last) whom i met whilst hiding in Herring Lane car park. Have been into classic vehicles since my first car a 1956 MG Magnette which led to working for a local MG racing specialist back in 84 then spending 11 yrs at I & C Woolsteholmes, Vintage/classic trim and accessories, Mkt Deeping (still have some contacts so let me know what u need) Then spent few years workin for various bike racing organisations before deciding i wanted to be a scientist. (iv'e also polished Brazil nuts for a livin). Iv'e been into VW's since about 93 but it was Doms van during a very hazy Bug Jam that made me decide to get a van which was a shouldhave been scrapped 74 bay, spent 4 years restoring this before selling it on for the deposit on this one which iv'e had now for about 5 yrs. The plan is to tour Europe and beyond in her so the brief is definitely "form follows function" with me. Thats all i'm boring myself now. | |

| Hi all. pretty new to vw scene got my first in 2000 ,i got a payout from a bike accident ,got a dormobile 1972 camper, owned by a old "church guy"which they used to spread the gospel[his words]got it to go to festivals etc then discovered there was a huge scene when i stubbled on vzi. Kept it for a few years till it became too rusty[can't weld which is on my list of things to do before i die :cyclops: . But soon as i sold it missed having a toy and the scene so bought a 1961 bug off paul knight which had plenty of patina, narrowed beam and a porsche engine which was fun. seemed a good base for a novice like me. its currently got a 1200 engine in till my 1776 engine is built and i'm adding as many period accessories as i can find and then its done, only problem is life seems to take over so things go slow. I don't really do many shows so don't know many people in the scene but like the ethos this place seems to have. jim. | |

| thanks i'm in Leeds Tim,bought a few sticker hoodide stuff over the years.. not got many pictures and the car isn't being used at the moment its under rubbish in the garage. But i'm planning on fitting the engine just after christmas and just sorting the paintwork, its had a respray at some point so been rubbing the top layer off back to the original pastel blue, so some bits need blending in and going to lower the back too and get some alloys for it,just for a different look,so when its back together again i'll post some pictures in the picture bit of the forum.thanks for the welcome. heres a picture from last year | |
