| Hello folks, Gary from Spalding operating as max last on here, because it says max last on the little plaque near my drivers door. 38 year old carpenter, i only work part time as i look after my little girl the rest of the tme. currently driving a `63 kombi swedish import in a mostly ratty styleee. other intrests include, west ham, being married, beer and such like. bit of a blundering amateur as far as these computer things go, sympathy accepted. I will no doubt think of something really clever and witty to write after i`ve posted this message. Until then ,engine in the back water in the river and so forth. | |

| yep, when Jonesy had it there was a hurst/boatyard bar on it and a roof rack, i found a picture of it on tour to spa last year[i think] in ultravw from about this time last year.My plans for it are ,headlight gaurds, front discs, and some centre caps. Ideally caps will be something like dick dastardly would have, in my head anyway. | |

Thanks
Tim. | |

| better but still showing at 1024 wide... another 224 off would be good it's just because it makes forums hard to read as you ahve to scroll across every written reply if the pics are wider than the screen... i reckon that bus needs another Boz bar on it... finished it off a treat have you Ankor Waxed it yet Gary? | |

| yep, ankor wax done. well, the topside at least! tempted to give the bottom a coating fairly soon. hmmm boz bars you say, must admit i had considered it, but thought i`d try to get some loot for discs first. unless anybody needs one on my bus to free up garage space! | |

| ta for the positive comments, i think its a tricky balance to put my mark on the bus without ruining the look that made me buy it, stance, wheels, mirrors, paint! etc. I am definitly in favour of the war zone/child scarer type appearance though. As for the dutch rozzers, well the dutch are in favour of things being high, aren`t they? | |

| Just a brief update folks, headlight gaurds ordered(awaiting delivery), getting ready to install headliner. can`t decide on refitting original or doing something a bit different. original was given a coat of paint at some point in the past??? and i think i`ve sussed out my centre cap dilema. at last. | |

| well, its finally happened. i managed to do something mechanical without creating more probs. after stanford hall, i discovered a petrol leak from the base of the tank, so........ i took the engine and tank out!!! diagnosed the problem, and resolved it! everything back together, working and no bits left over!!! all in time for skeg, then had to work. still pleased i managed it though. and thanks to chris for the telephone back up, much appreciated. | |
