Speedmaster Bus is back on the road!!!!

Finally!!!!!!!!!!

Shes been sat since the end of last summer, now sporting a shiney new 1641 with twin 34 carbs.

So nice to get back out in it, just waiting for the sun to shine now!!!!


Had a bit of a scare in it on the way to the tip on saturday morning tho!

Took some old junk out of the garage and garden and loaded up the van, while chugging down the local bypass i noticed the car behind flashing at me, and then i noticed the smoke! Bugger, I slowed and continued to the next exit. Had a check in the back and nothing was amis and was running sweet, so off i went to the tip. Having empted the bus, i noticed the old BBQ full of burnt charcoal with the lid open still on the roof i had put there before i left!! what a twat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Big relief tho!!!!!

Also had trouble being let into the council tip as the guy thought id come all of the way from stamford!!!!!!!!! Had to convince him i was a "Local" Lol!!

So the BBQ was still lit???

or was it just the ash blowing out?##

I wonder if Ed went to the tip in his bus they would think he'd just driven it all the way from Washington state USA?
