yeah i was looking at that, pretty cool! looks way too big to be a car cam, it looks fucking massive but then i guess i'm used to VW type 1 ones which are tiny. Aha... the grill bar is a 425 cat camshaft out of my buddies highway truck thought it looked a little on the large side for a car cam

So, how much you chopping out of yours then Tim ?! :cyclops: The reason i like the 39 and 40 Chevy coupes so much is because i think they are perfectly proportioned just as they are... so no chopping will be done

I can appreciate the work that's gone into it though I know what your saying Sam, it was more the skills i was showing although i must say there is something about the early 50's chevy coupes that doesn't look quite right to me and makes me think they would look better with at least a mild chop in the roof... that very car at the top was on ebay recently and didn't meet it's reserve. buy it now was very reasonable too... maybe it's still available http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=260315574744

Optimistic seller though "Running when parked 1971" No doubt about the mild roof chop. I need a new daily hack- Not sure that fits the bill for a small cheap hatchback though- well maybe the cheap part

I need a new daily hack- Not sure that fits the bill for a small cheap hatchback though- well maybe the cheap part My 54 was running when parked in 71... oil change, fuel pump, water pump and a set of plugs and it runs like a dream... and everythings so cheap for them mechanically! what do you want to pay for a hack and do you care what it is? i just sold my mint 1990 Hinda Concerto with a full MOT and fresh 6 months tax for £300! there are lots of cheap motors around at the moment... it's a buyers market for sure. then you can spend your real money on a real car
