This is my van at the moment . Lots of potential . Just need lots of money to sort it . First job will be to lower it on a 2" narrowed beam

Let me know your thoughts

It's cool!

Early Bay panels are really rare especially in good nick, just needs tapping with the lowering stick and some nice faded sign writing :bounce:

I like it!!!!!! Very Happy Panels are so cool.

What colour is it? (Is it L345 Light Grey?) If so my favourite VW colour.

A little lowering wouldn't go a miss, but still cool non the less.

If you want steels for now i'd go with 15" Split Bus steels... they'd look lovely, especially with some grey commercial hub caps as it's a panel Twisted Evil

Nah they had 14" steels on, not my cup of tea and it would mean buying tyres twice as they wouldn't fit the alloys. the Tinoc now has SA sprints on it, again not my favorite wheels but the do really suit it.

Well i have no grey ones at all, they are being made manufactured at the moment, i would imagine it'll be 8 weeks plus before i get them here as they have to come via sea freight...

Well worth the wait, everyone I meet say how much they love the grey Speedmater Wheels I had from Tim. Even those people who ask me when I am going to paint my bus....

69 Panel Van DSC00684 Ummmmmm!

I think £1500 is a bit of a liberal price, I fitted everything up myself and including the CSP's, beam, dropped spindles etc....it cost more like £2000, but I didn't use any of my og parts which would have saved me money.

Ok take a look at
www.robertopiecollection.com
This guy has been collecting classic UK packaging and other logos/advertising for donkeys years
He used to have a packaging museum in Cheltenham now its in London
It has all the kinds of typography and ads you would want to look at for inspiration
However Im not sure how much of it is on show on the website, you may need to visit the museum in London
We went to Cheltenham years ago and it is fantastic....30s/40s up.......
i think looking at brand design and advertising is the best way to get inspired, I can't think of anywhere on the Internet where you can look through 60s/70s panel vans with ads on.....
