| hi all , sorry if this ones been done before , if so can any one supply a link . What kind of costs are invloved for lowering a bay bus , a friend was quoted between £800 and £1000 this was with new dampers , low profile tyres etc | |

What kind of costs are invloved for lowering a bay bus , a friend was quoted between £800 and £1000 this was with new dampers , low profile tyres etc I think if its just lowering it can be region of £100-150, if by low profile tyres you mean new wider wheels, then you are into narrowing the beams in order to fit the wheels inside the arches, and really its how long is a piece of string, depending on what wheels you buy....may also need a new gearbox.....Tim will tell you....... | |

| Lowering by 3 1/2"- 4" with adjustable front beam will cost £350, wheels and tyres are your choice and the options are too wide to estimate cost really...
or if you want to be as low to the ground as my Westy and it still drive nicely with a diffterent gearbox you will have to shell out around £2500 and that's without wheels and tyres | |

| Frank cost around £3500 to lower, including new beam, gearbox, Moons and tyres.......roughly....but you can pay much less for the wheels from Halfords, if that's the quality you want.... | |
