| Introducing our early bay imported from the states. Built on the 12 of september 1967. Exported to New Mexico then lived in Florida. Had it about a month, but that time has been spent sorting out all the engine problems All original paint, except the front panel which was repainted after it got caught in a sandstorm in New Mexico. The wheels are off an audi a4 because of the late bay brakes all round. These wheels will be changed at some point. It does stop rather well though.    (shameless website plug) There's still a couple of small things to sort but it's pretty much done. We're well pleased with it! Sam and Tess | |

i didn't realise it was quite that early... that's the earliest Deluxe i know of!

| It's running now like it should.
Seemed to take ages sorting that engine. We'd fix one part then discover something else. Learned one hell of a lot about buses though, so it's not all bad.
Also, having a mechanic for a dad definately comes in handy! | |

I know it hasn't got the proper wide five steels but what the hey.
Just need some domed hubcaps now.
Still need to have a stickering session on the rear windows.
Been waxing the rear arches this weekend. So good to see the original neptune blue under there. | |

| Bit of an update:  New shifter knob on a stock shifter. It was a RHD one but we persuaded it in to the LHD shape.  During a mad waxing session we found the outline of some sort of sign writing, possibly a sticker, but there's 1 on each door. It looks like the outline of several hot air balloons, which makes sense as Albuquerque, New Mexico is the 'Balloon Capital of the World' apparently.  Polishes up rather well! | |
