PostSubject: COOL OLD U.S DEALER BADGES -   Fri Feb 27 2009, 14:46

I have decided to sell a few more of the 50s / 60s U.S Dealer badges that I've been hoarding. These are all in good/miint condition and all are approx 5" Long. They really suit an old Vdub, Bus, Hot Rod or Rat looker. They also look great as a display item. I accept Paypal, and P+P is £3.50 recorded post. If you want more than one item I'll still post recorded, free of charge.

Luby Denver (Really nice/mint) £35

George Irvin - (Really nice/mint) £30

Way Motors (NOS, never fitted) £40

Davidson, Loveland, Colorado - (Really cool) £35

Henna Austin (Personal favourite. Austin Texas, not to be confused with Austin Mini) £40

Sisk Hopkinsville - (Supremely cool, really really nice font) £30

Bivouac Custom Equipped (Suit a rat camper maybe - Nice 60s font and different) £25

Burt Colorado - £20

Weaver Beatty Imports - £30 (Really funky. Thought about using this logo on a panel van)

Lindner, Canyon City - (Plastic, fantastic - £20)

They are very nice.....what are you meant to do with them, assuming they are not correct for your own vehicle.....?

i just had a thought, doesn't Frank have two holes and an outline where it had one of these badges? it'd be nice to find the right one to fit...

If that is where a dealer badge goes, please just let me know when one comes up for Warden, Little Rock Arkansas.....otherwise, to repeat the original question Tim, what is one supposed to do with a dealer badge that isn't right for the vehicl;e...? Ornament ?
