I've made an engine stand but need to know the centres for the mounting plate/brackets so i can finish it! Obviously I haven't got one laying around, i was supposed to buying one off somebody to rebuild but i think they may have sold it to somebody else......bugger!</description>

			<description>I'm still trying to figure out the whole registering thing for a home built car. Now, I've heard of people buying a U.S. title and basically using all the info off it for a new built car????? So does this mean i could build for example a model a ford with brand new chassis and say a 350 v8 small block and traditional suspension etc... get a model a U.S. title (probly off ebay) and use all that info to make a I.D. plate and fix to it, m.o.t it and register it????????

My camaro (ye ye i kno its not classic) the cable linking the shifter to the arm on the tranny is shot so won't engage gears hence won't move! the gearbox sumps leaking so need a new gasket, the power steering pump (i think) is leaking too. It needs rear brake pads (wear n tear so i'll let that one go) and may need new window motor too! and I may replace the drive belt why? why? why? Suddenly I have a massive shopping list and a cold sweat  ...</description>

			<description>Had a s/a conversion fitted by the previous owner and decided to fit a 1500  box that I managed to pick up reconditioned.



All was going well, but when I have fitted the bearing covers and clamped up the drums the axles went tight and wouldnt turn.  Its not the brakes as these are not fitted yet.



As soon as I removed the drums and the bearing covers, the axles turn again.



Have all the bearing and spacers as fitted previously.



Any ideas as I have the bus booked in with tim in  ...</description>

			<description>member of the forum Dbzzz had an unfortunate experience when his rear wheel decided to come of whilst driving down the A1... luckily no one was hurt but the bus suffered some nasty rear corner body and suspension damage. the reason the wheel came off was because the last (rogue)mechanic to lay a spanner on it fitted the wrong wheel bolts   



I have the job of repairing it, here's the how the repairs ar going so far...
